EU taxonomy

The EU taxonomy is the EU's definition and tool for identifying environmentally sustainable investments. A common classification system will help investors identify and compare properties with the aim of reaching the EU's climate goals and the objectives within the EU's green growth strategy. You want to make a real difference and avoid "green washing" where you falsely or loosely claim to be environmentally correct.

Sections 7.1 and 7.2 of the EU taxonomy concern new construction and renovations of properties and in those sections the product requirements are set for bathroom products. Individual products cannot be certified according to the EU taxonomy, but they can fulfill the requirements set. As a manufacturer, we must be able to certify that the requirements are met through a product data sheet.

Buildings that have products installed that meet the requirements of the taxonomy can borrow so-called "Green money" at a more favorable interest rate.
