Building product assessments
Both “Byggvarubedömningen” and “SundaHus” assess construction-related products based on their chemical content, environmental impact during the life cycle and, by extension, also social impact in the supply chain. The systems aim to promote product development that moves towards a non-toxic and good built environment and provides a responsible supplier chain.
Within the “Byggvarubedömningen”, each product receives, based on set criteria, one of three possible assessments; Recommended, Accepted or Avoided.
Within “SundaHus” there are five levels according to which the products are assessed; A, B, C+, C- and D.
