The thermostat mixer of the future makes the bathroom a more sustainable place for you who build, for you who install and not least for you who use the mixer. Our new thermostatic mixers are a concrete step to lower the C02 footprint of our products.

New smart design

The new thermostatic bath and shower mixers feature an organic, timeless design that blends in seamlessly with Gustavsberg’s entire collection of stylish rain shower heads and shower sets. But the beauty extends far below the surface.

The new thermostatic mixers weigh around 20% less than the older models. They also contain less brass, which means a reduction in carbon emissions as early as in the manufacturing phase. Lower weight also translates into a reduction in emissions from transport.

A number of the new thermostatic mixers feature “Smart Inside” technology with replaceable functions that can be upgraded to fulfil future environmental requirements and points systems (from the Swedish Green Building Council and BREEAM, for example). In practice, this entails an extended service life and even better sustainability.

Another significant environmental benefit is that Gustavsberg’s thermostatic mixers are produced locally in Sweden – more specifically, in Vårgårda.

The Estetic range is designed for everyone who appreciates the highest possible design factor in the bathroom. The new thermostatic mixer will be available in both chrome and matt black finish. A smart click-on shelf elegantly conceals the fixing point, at the same time as providing additional surface space.

Atlantic - something for everyone

The Atlantic range meets stringent requirements from professional fitters and DIY enthusiasts alike. The design is stylistically pure, and the collection has been expanded even further in connection with the new launch.

The Nordic range presents safe and secure functionality. The range is limited to the most common models and with its pared down idiom, the timeless design matches all bathrooms perfectly.

News in the thermostat family

The smartest shelf - a smart click-on-shelf which is part of the Estetic series and available as an option in other series. It hides the attachment to the wall and offers a practical storage surface where it is needed most. The shelf fits all thermostatic mixers.

Shower mixer with bathtub spout - a novelty is complete bathtub mixers where the bathtub spout is mounted on the thermostatic mixer. Bath and shower often appear in the same space and with the new extended range it becomes easy to create a unified look. Choose between a fixed or swiveling bathtub spout.

Combine with the roof shower set

The shower mixers are also available in prepackaged complete kits together with a roof shower set. Choose between the Round and Square models where the main shower and hand shower have square or round shapes. In the Estetic series, there are also matt black variants where the roof shower set and thermostat mixer give a uniform design impression. The variations are many, but quality, function and clean forms are always the common denominator.

For those of you who, like us, are extra passionate about the energy and environmental aspect, the complete shower package with thermostatic mixer together with a shower set or roof shower set that meets Energy Class A according to SS-820001 and the EU taxonomy (according to 7.1-7.2). They are also adapted to most building certification systems on the market, e.g. Environmental construction, the Swan and BREEAM.

All single-lever Nautic shower mixers have now been given a new, upgraded design. The lever on the Nautic single-lever mixers has now been positioned on top to simplify use (it also makes the new mixers fully compatible with Gustavsberg’s range of spouts). Everything else remains the same. Nautic is Nautic – a faithful servant of the highest quality from Gustavsberg.

Even temperature

Thermostatic mixers feature built-in automatic scald protection and hot-water safety stop with type-approved non-return valves. This means that the mixers react quickly to the changes in temperature and pressure that can arise in the water flow, and even out the differences.

Safe touch

All thermostatic mixers from gustavsberg are fitted with a safe touch function, which means they are designed to lead the hot water along the rear side of the mixer. This minimises the heat level on the front side of the thermostat, thus reducing the risk of burns.

Lead-free

The mixer is made of material whose total weight includes less than 0.1% lead. As such, it is an eco-smart mixer that meets stringent requirements with reference to lead content. The mixer features a discreet laser marked symbol on its rear side to facilitate traceability.
