A mixer for every kitchen

If you have a dishwasher in your kitchen, it is wise to consider how to protect your home against water damage in the event of any leaks. Here are three ways to protect your kitchen from water damage: 

1. Choose a kitchen mixer that is equipped with a manual control to control the water supply to the dishwasher. Each time you use the dishwasher, you turn the water on and then turn it off after the cycle has finished. 
2. Fit a separate dishwasher cut-off to the sink unit to manually turn the water on and off. Each time you use the dishwasher, you turn the water on and then turn it off after the cycle has finished. 
3. Choose a kitchen mixer with an electronic dishwasher cut-off. Set the number of hours for the valve to stay open, after which the water will automatically be shut off. Certain models also offer a leakage breaker, which is fitted in the kitchen unit and that raises an alarm and shuts off the water to the dishwasher in the event of a leak.  

All our kitchen mixers are fitted using various versions of a quick-fit nut that saves time and money (and your back!). The quick-fit nut is simply pushed up to its stop position and then tightened. This both improves ergonomics and reduces the installation time by at least 30 seconds. This may sound a modest saving, but in a large project you will notice the difference in terms of time spent and reduced strain on your back.
