Warranty & Claims
Warranty
The warranty period for Gustavsberg products is two years from the date the product is put into use, or two years from the date of the final inspection of the installed product. In Sweden, private consumers have a three-year right to make a claim under the Swedish Konsumentköplagen. During the final year, it is the consumer’s responsibility to prove that the defect was present from the outset and was not caused by improper use or wear and tear.
The warranty does not cover costs incurred by third parties or costs relating to anything other than the product supplied. Such costs should be covered by insurance held by the installation company or the user.
Claims
If you are not satisfied with the product or if it is defective, you should make a claim through the place where you purchased it, either the retailer or the installer. As a customer, you must be able to provide proof of the purchase date by presenting a receipt or a copy of the invoice relating to the delivery.
Claims & Warranty terms for Professionals only
Gustavsberg products are sold in accordance with the current version of the general terms and conditions of delivery for plumbing and water and wastewater materials for professional use in Sweden. These terms and conditions apply in Sweden unless otherwise agreed in writing between the parties.
If a product is defective, a claim should be submitted directly to Gustavsberg Customer Service.
