NORDIC QUALITY is a new quality label that guarantees that sanitary ware is suited for Nordic installations, which often have higher standards and rules than the European equivalent. While CE certification evaluates technical criteria, the Nordic quality certification includes criteria such as service, delivery, spare parts availability, and company activities. Gustavsberg toilet products from the Nordic and ARTic series are the first to receive NORDIC QUALITY certification.
"There is greater need for Nordic certification now that the national certifications within the EU have disappeared. The demands in the Swedish and Nordic markets have always been higher than in the rest of Europe, and it is therefore more important to our customers that we complete the CE certifications," says Johan Lundin, Sales and Marketing Manager at Gustavsberg. "The NORDIC QUALITY certification is a guarantee that our products have a high Nordic standard for quality, environment and service."
Demanding requirements on every product
The NORDIC QUALITY label guarantees more than technical specifications: Insta-Cert also defines standards for production, service, quality and spare parts availability. Qualifying companies must also be certified according to ISO 9000 and ISO 14000, to ensure quality and environment safety.
