Design and environment important for bathroom consumers

2007-03-12

Skandic Island both practical and modern
The newest kitchen mixer, Skandic Island, is designed to fit in practically and in terms of design in a new kitchen. It has a mouthpiece with two different spray patterns, as well as a magnetic fitting for the spray head. The relatively low height means the mixer can also be fitted beneath most kitchen cabinets. The model has “food-approved” components – components with what is known as WRC approval. It is also equipped with water-saving technology that protects the environment and saves money without compromising on ease of use.

Skandic Electronic prevents scalding
Skandic Electronic is a sensor-driven mixer made to be used in both home and public environments. It is a smart mixer for those who safety and comfort. To prevent scalding, the mixer ensures that a certain amount of cold water is always added. This makes it ideal for use in locations such as day-care centres. You can also preset the temperature on the hot water to ensure an ideal temperature. The mixer is easy to service and needs only a standard battery.

Centic saves water
Centic is AB Gustavsberg’s latest series of mixers. Centic features clean and modern designs that enhance the all-over appearance of your bathroom. Just like all Gustavsberg´s other mixers, it is equipped with water-saving technology and has “food-approved” components –  components with WRC approval.

Centic has been launched with SoftPex, a new type of connecting pipe that is easy to install and mount, and which has been approved for the Nordic market. AB Gustavsberg is first to launch the SoftPex pipe, which is designed to replace copper pipes in the future.

“Mounting the mixers is easier and more effective with SoftPex,” says Jonas Jern, Product Manager at AB Gustavsberg. “SoftPex is an environmentally sound choice that reduces pollution. There are no toxic by-products during production, and since the pipes are corrosion-resistant, they have already become standard in Central Europe.”
